Run Ragged

We live past a track to a hill called Mt Ragged. The other morning (think early) an older man knocked at our door having run/walked ?30 or 40 kms. He and his brother had driven a 2 wheel drive car from South Australia, along probably one of the roughest 4 wheel drive tracks you could encounter. My husband offered him coffee and then spent the morning pulling the bogged car out. It would be funny if this only happened once per year, but I get the feeling living in our new place we will be meeting a lot more people like this. I guess it's a bar story for them, but really?! Moral: don't drive a car where the gravel ends. I still haven't found the cord for the camera, may have to resort to a new purchase. The unpacking continues.

On a whim

So it seems I am needing to write again, and on a whim have decided to revive the blog. I've just been reminded though of how frustrating technology can be - having lost the entire blog post I just wrote...A lot has happened since last post. Most recently we have just moved house again - into my husband's childhood home on the home farm. We will put some photos up when I find the cable to connect camera and computer! Today we made soup, played on the grass outside, hung washing and picked tomatoes. I am hoping to continue to unpack tomorrow, we'll see. So we're back, talk soon.

the eve

We are on the eve of moving back into our newly renovated home. It has been a long time coming and we are all excited about the next few days. Mostly I am! Photos to follow as we go. For now we are looking forward to days of cleaning and unpacking with more excitement than I thought possible.

wilson update

well this has turned into the most sporadic blog I've ever seen. So I'm starting again easy, and posting some pictures of the baby in our lives. We are still out of home but hopefully only for a few more days - can't wait!
